Court limits EU in-house legal privilege
‘Allen & Overy partner Dirk Arts comments on a decision this week by the European Court of Justice which states that in-house lawyers do not enjoy the same legal privilege as external lawyers. Arts says that the ruling would ‘do nothing but make it difficult for in-house counsel to openly communicate with their business people’.
