Dear ECLA Colleagues and Friends,
The year 2013 saw the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of ECLA which is not the end, merely the beginning of a new, empowered and dynamic ECLA.
ECLA as the representative body covering more than 42 000 company lawyers in 19 European countries, is currently working on the Ethical Code for Company Lawyers and on the white paper on the independence of Company Lawyers. These works should be completed next year and ECLA hopes that both will further help European company lawyers and European companies in the global competition.
